He graduated in the Kirovohrad Civil Aviation School in 1984, the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy of Ukraine - in 2004. From 1998 to 2006 he was twice elected as the Mayor of Olexandriya. A member of Parliament of Ukraine from 2006 to 2007. Since November 2010 - Mayor of Olexandria
