Zenon Poticzny, born 1957, married and has three children. Mr. Poticzny holds a Masters degree in Engineering and an MBA, both from the University of Toronto.
Mr.Poticzny served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Shelton Canada Corp. since the company`s listing on the TSX venture Exchange in 1996.
From 1991 to 1995 he was a Vice President of Marketing for Landford International Ltd., an international trading and real estate development company, responsible for joint venture creation and business development in Ukraine.
From 1983 to 1989 Zenon was a process engineer and Project manager for the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, Canada, where he worked on projects related to tar sands He has written several reports and publications related to oil sands and bitumen extraction processes.
In 2005 he was also elected as President of Canada Ukraine Chamber of Commerce. Canada Ukraine Chamber of Commerce is recognized by all levels of government in Canada and Ukraine, by the business community in both countries and by the public in general as the facilitator agency of choice for establishing, maintaining and monitoring bilateral business relations, trade, and investment opportunities between Canada and Ukraine. In 2015 CUCC together with the Conference Board of Canada, became implementing organization of the CUTIS project, initiated by the Government of Canada.
In 2009 Zenon Poticzny has been awarded the Order of Merit, Class III, from the President of Ukraine.
