In the 1st Expo - Congress “BUSINESS FOR SMART CITIES” took part 140 speakers from 30 countries, including:
  • 26 representatives of international organizations (EBRD, IFC,  Global Infrastructure Hub, UNECE, HABITAT, UN Global Compact),
  • 49 representatives of public authorities,
  • 65 representatives of private business.

Paul Alezraa
Director, Avesta Group

Paul Alezraa graduated from EM Lyon Business School (MBA Finances) and Sciences Po Lyon before specializing in the cultural field. In 2001, he was responsible for creating the European heritage sector arm of an international group and ran their French and Italian companies. Today, Paul Alezraa is an expert on the financial and economic aspects of projects. His long experience has given him a thorough knowledge of the challenges of all types of cultural institutions internationally.

His background is of particular value in the preparation of budgets for the planning and design of exhibitions, for feasibility studies concerned with the management of cultural institutions and their facilities. His expertise also encompasses human resources and in particular recruitment and training. He is also experienced in giving economic and financial advice to contracting authorities throughout concept development, investment, technical appraisal and the analysis of the architects’ plans.

Before creating Avesta Group, Paul Alezraa created and ran the firm HP 84: then the French leader in the field of museums (interpretative planning and exhibition design), exhibitions (temporary or permanent), signage and cultural facilities; with over 120 projects realized in France.
