In the 1st Expo - Congress “BUSINESS FOR SMART CITIES” took part 140 speakers from 30 countries, including:
  • 26 representatives of international organizations (EBRD, IFC,  Global Infrastructure Hub, UNECE, HABITAT, UN Global Compact),
  • 49 representatives of public authorities,
  • 65 representatives of private business.

In the framework of the 2nd Expo - Congress “BUSINESS FOR SMART CITIES” is is planned to invite international experts, regional leaders and heads of start-ups and multinational companies, the most successful projects and solutions for Smart Cities.

Mykola Palazhchenko

Since 1993, he has been actively involved in the artistic life of the city, including at the Yakimanka Contemporary Art Center, Spider & Mouse Gallery, and at the Institute of Contemporary Art (hereinafter: Institute of Contemporary Art).

1999-2001- was a curator of the festival programs: The Unofficial Capital, 21st Century Cultural Heroes.

In 2002, jointly with several collectors he founded the Contemporary Art Collectors Club, a non-profit association aimed at collecting and promoting contemporary art.

Since 2004, at the invitation of the shareholders of the former Mosvinokombinat, he participated in the development of the concept and creation of the Art Center "Winery" in the complex of buildings of the former brewery which has become the first large public art cluster in Moscow.

From 2005 to 2007 he was the Art Director of the Winery. In 2007 he has become a member of the Board of the Winery Foundation.

In 2006, together with the publisher and philanthropist Alexander Pogorelsky, he has organized the Society for Supporting Contemporary Art "Metafuturism" and initiated the Contemporary Art Festival in the city of Shargorod (Ukraine).

In 2007, an architectural workshop was held in Shargorod under the supervision of Mykola Palazhchenko, with the participation of over 40 young architects.

In 2008-2010 he participated in the creation of the Perm Museum of Contemporary Art (PERMM).

In 2010, he initiated the creation of a cluster of art workshops in the legendary Narkomfin house.

In 2012 he established the Faculty of Art Management and Gallery Business within the RMA Business School.

Since 2014 he has represented Art Basel in the Baltic States and the CIS.
