In the 1st Expo - Congress “BUSINESS FOR SMART CITIES” took part 140 speakers from 30 countries, including:- 26 representatives of international organizations (EBRD, IFC, Global Infrastructure Hub, UNECE, HABITAT, UN Global Compact),
- 49 representatives of public authorities,
- 65 representatives of private business.
In the framework of the 2nd Expo - Congress “BUSINESS FOR SMART CITIES” is is planned to invite international experts, regional leaders and heads of start-ups and multinational companies, the most successful projects and solutions for Smart Cities.

Gulnara Roll
Secretary to the Committee on Urban Development, Housing and Land Management, UNECE
Senior Expert in Environmental Policy, Urban Planning, Sustainable Development with an extensive experience of managing networks, teams and projects.
Works at the UN since 2009 supporting international cooperation. Experienced organiser of intergovernmental meetings and conductor of international negotiations. Other areas of her expertise include: preparing studies; managing projects and teams; and fundraising.
Holds a PhD. in Human Geography and Environmental Sciences. Currently works at United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and studies the International Organizations MBA Program at University of Geneva.
