Robert Hermans (1963) is Director of the CBS – Statistics Netherlands Department of Development of Urban & Regional Data Centres. He has a 29 year working experience in policy-, research- and management positions in cities, provinces, private companies and research institutes in The Netherlands and abroad and has a working experience in over 50 countries worldwide. From 2007 to 2012 he was a member of the Scientific and Technical Committee of CIDES, the International Centre for Sustainable Development in Panamá.
Robert Hermans graduated from University of Amsterdam in Urban & Rural Geography and Communication Sciences. He has been working at Statistics Netherlands since 2013.
