Since 2007, he has worked as a lecturer in the Department of General Education, a lecturer in the Department of Law, a dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law of Khmelnytskyi Institute of Social Technologies of the Open International University for Human Development "Ukraine". Now - Honorary Professor of this University.

In 2010, he was elected a deputy of the Khmelnytskyi City Council. From April 2014 till July 2015 he worked as the first deputy chairman of Khmelnitskyi regional state administration.

In November 2015 he was elected the Mayor of Khmelnytskyi.

He considers solving the problem of solid waste management a challenge that will allow Khmelnytskyi to become a leader in this area in Ukraine, thanks projects of the Program "Smart Environment Khmelnytsky" that are environmentally responsible, economically viable and consistent with Ukrainian legislation.
