Maria is a practicing ophthalmologist, expert of the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, member of the Central Formulary Committee of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, leading researcher, member of the European Society of Retinologists, owner of private ophthalmological practice.

Earlier she had taught ophthalmology to doctors at the P.L. Shupik National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, she is an author of more than 100 scientific publications.

Maria is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Altris.AI.
