İrfan Aker has more than 35 years experience in the management and coordination of major energy, water supply, irrigation and transportation projects. He was involved with all stages of projects; reconnaissance, master plan, feasibility, design, engineering, construction supervision, temporary and final acceptances as well as due diligence (DD) services and LTA services.
During the last 15 years, he had extensive experience in transactional advisory services including cross-sector technical, transactional and commercial advisory services for the Lenders and Sponsors for BOT/PPP projects. DOLSAR Engineering has involved in many energy, transportation, health and tourism projects which make them one of the top provider of PPP technical as well as environmental and social advisory services.
He took part in the projects financed by international organizations such as WB, EU, EIB, EBRD, KfW, ADB etc. He is a member of various international organizations.
He chaired or participated to various workshops/sessions/conferences in the field of dams, hydroelectric power plants and water related subjects as a chairman or speaker or moderator.
He has born in 1954 in Ankara, Turkey. İrfan AKER holds a M.Sc. degree from University of Birmingham.
He acted as the Jury Member for Turkish Prime Minister’s Water Prize, 2009; 3rd KYOTO World Water Grand Prize, 2012; 4th KYOTO World Water Grand Prize, 2015.
