Since the election 2018 – the parliamentary leader of the Green Party in the City Council of Växjö. As a deputy Mayor I am the head of the Sustainable committee of the Municipal board. This electoral term is my first as a fulltime politician and before I have had several part-time political responsibilities. I am the chairman of the Green Party in the County of Kronoberg and a member of the Party national board.
During 2019 I have worked mainly with getting the new Sustainability program in place and we managed this in October. My work now is to implement the program in the whole of the Municipal organization.
In my civil life I am a priest in the Church of Sweden and have worked for a long time with international development, Sustainability, Refugee issues and International relations for the Diocese of Växjö and for the Church of Sweden on national level. This work has mainly taken me to Costa Rica, India, Ethiopia and Eritrea in different development projects as sustainable farming and leadership empowerment.
