Mr. Aleksandar Dukovski
Chair, UNECE Group of Experts on Energy Efficiency, Senior Energy Expert, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

Aleksandar Dukovski is a Senior Energy Expert working on several energy projects in Macedonia and in the SEE region. He is member of the Bureau of the UNECE Committee on Sustainable Energy and the Chairman of the UNECE Group of Experts on Energy Efficiency (GEEE). His expertise focuses on investments, project implementation and policy creation in energy efficiency and renewable energy sector, as well as national strategies related to energy and energy use. Previously he was the Director of the Energy Agency of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and was the co-founder and Technical Director of Énergie du Soleil, a commercial photovoltaic developer. He also was a project implementer on the USAID and Habitat for Humanity Project “Improving Energy Efficiency in the Housing Sector” where he worked on developing and testing market-based models for energy efficient reconstruction in collective housing units, as well as on “Residential energy efficiency for low income households: Energy Efficiency as a Social Safety Net Tool”. Mr. Dukovski has a Master research degree in Electrical Engineering from École polytechnique de l'université de Nantes and Electrical Engineering degree from “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University, Skopje.
